Client Support Representative (Telecom)
Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to develop relationships and profile customer information
  • Previous telus and or Canadian carrier experience is "preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to manage and grow the relationship with medium to large account[s]
  • Ability to view the sale from the customer's perspective
  • Ability to foster a trust based relationship with the customer
  • Solutions approach to selling - value at the application level
  • Passion for sales, customer satisfaction and the telecommunications industry
  • Proven ability to multi task in a fast past environment.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Accountable to support the Sales Team for the growth and acquisition of revenues within assigned account base.
  • Act as an advocate within Sky Wireless to support the customer when dealing with service issues. Practice the protocol of one call resolution
  • Support client moves, adds, changes and organic growth on account(s) for contract renewal and for potential sales opportunities
  • Develop long term key business relationships at the operational levels with clients by positioning TELUS / Sky Wireless as a key component of the customer's business strategy
  • Contact customers to discuss the client's business for contract renewal; explains and recommends TELUS products and services to meet customer needs; prepares costing estimates; initiates sales process
  • Assist in development of strategic account plans and business plans
  • Support Sales Representatives as required; gathering and compiling information; initiation of hand-off documents, coordinating internal resources for data gathering, develops quotes, processing contracts, and delivering proposals for services and products, etc.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including day, evening where the business demands lie.
  • Stay knowledgeable about our product, services, promotions and policies
  • Other random tasks asked by management and corporate sales team
  • Maintain current knowledge of TELUS / Sky Wireless offerings, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies, and their ability to meet the customer's needs
